Abstract

Η Όλυμπος της Καρπάθου αποτελεί ένα μοναδικό χωριό με πλούσια παράδοση και ξεχωριστή κοινωνική δομή που παραμένει σταθερή μέσα στον χρόνο. Η γλώσσα και οι παραδοσιακές του εκδηλώσεις αντιπροσωπεύουν έναν κόσμο ιδιαίτερου πολιτισμού και ιστορίας. Η διατήρηση των παραδοσιακών αξιών και των εθίμων, ειδικά στις κοινωνικές εκδηλώσεις και τη γυναικεία ενδυμασία, παραμένει ζωντανή. Η δομή της οικογένειας και οι κοινωνικές πρακτικές αποτελούν αντικείμενο έρευνας για τους επιστήμονες, αναδεικνύοντας τη δυναμική της κοινωνικής οργάνωσης και την εξέλιξη των παραδόσεων. Η παρούσα εθνογραφική – λαογραφική έρευνα στοχεύει στην ανάλυση της έκφρασης της θεατρικότητας στις κοινωνικές εκδηλώσεις στην κοινότητα της Όλυμπου Καρπάθου. Καθώς η θεατρικότητα αναδεικνύεται ως ένα από τα βασικά στοιχεία της ανθρώπινης επικοινωνίας. πέραν της απλής τέχνης του θεάτρου, οι ανθρώπινες πράξεις, είτε αυτές εκτυλίσσονται κατά τη διάρκεια καθημερινών δραστηριοτήτων είτε κατά τη διάρκεια πολιτιστικών εκδηλώσεων, συχνά αποκτούν έναν θεατρικό χαρακτήρα. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό, διερευνούμε τον τρόπο με τον οποίο η θεατρικότητα εκδηλώνεται τόσο στον ιδιωτικό όσο και στον δημόσιο χώρο, με έμφαση στις πρακτικές που διαμορφώνουν αυτήν την έκφραση. Επιπλέον, εξετάζουμε τον ρόλο της θεατρικότητας στην κοινωνική ζωή μέσω των τελετουργιών, των εθίμων και των λαϊκών δρώμενων, αναδεικνύοντας τις διαδικασίες και τους μηχανισμούς με τους οποίους αυτά τα στοιχεία διαδραματίζουν ρόλο στην καθημερινή ζωή και την κοινωνική δομή της κοινότητας.
